YOGA
Yoga exercises nowadays mostly follow a holistic approach that aims to bring body, mind and soul into harmony. Especially in western countries, yoga is often taught in teaching units. This combines asanas, phases of deep relaxation, breathing exercises and meditation exercises. The practice of the asanas should improve the interplay of body, mind, soul and breath. The aim is to achieve improved vitality and, at the same time, an attitude of inner serenity.
TAI - CHI
In addition to the aspect of martial arts and self-defense, Taijiquan is often viewed as a general system of movement theory or as gymnastics, which on the one hand is very beneficial for health, on the other hand can serve personal development and meditation. Especially in the west, the martial arts aspect often takes a back seat to these aspects.
QI - GONG
Qigong (literally: energy training) means to gain more control over the inner flow of life energy and to strengthen the will through serious training. It is therefore a top collective term for all Qi exercises. In the East, Qigong is used for holistic healing. Qigong is a real art of living! The majority of the different schools of Qigong are based on Taoism, Buddhism, the philosophy of Yin and Yang and traditional Chinese medicine. Its aim is to strengthen the immune system and the vital force, the Qi energy.
