Description:
Jerusalem artichoke is an old cultivated plant of the South American natives and has been cultivated in Central Europe for about 300 years. The tuber of the Jerusalem artichoke plant was an important food, especially in the 19th century. Because of its relationship to the sunflower, Jerusalem artichokes are also known as "sun tuber". The pleasantly nutty tasting Jerusalem artichoke tuber consists of approx. 40% inulin, a swellable, indigestible fiber. Raab organic Jerusalem artichoke powder is rich in fiber and contains 50 g inulin per 100 g powder.

Consumption recommendation: Add approx. 3 teaspoons (4 g) each day to a drink of your choice, e.g. soy, oat, almond, rice and coconut milk or replace part of the conventional flour with Jerusalem artichoke powder when baking. Jerusalem artichoke powder is also a wonderful addition to smoothies, cereals, soups and desserts.
