THROAT SPRAY WITH MANUKA HONEY - FOR ORAL HYGIENE AND IN CASE OF COLD
Honey has many positive properties that the ancient Egyptians knew.
Out of all the types of honey that are available worldwide, one honey stands out in particular:
The Manuka honey
The evergreen Manuka bush grows in the pristine nature of New Zealand, and can reach 1 to 8 meters, rarely even higher. Its leaves are small and scratchy, and its flowers are white to pink. The resilient, evergreen plant, which is also called "Red Manuka" or "New Zealand Tea Tree" (not to be confused with the Australian tea tree Melaleuca alternifolia), can take on a variety of shapes: a 5 centimeter shrub or a 15 meter high tree that stands alone or appears as a whole undergrowth. The narrow, elongated, almost needle-like leaves have an aromatic smell and a bitter, but not unpleasant, tart taste. The flowers are particularly beautiful in December (New Zealand summer).
The Maori, the indigenous people of New Zealand, have been using Manuka as a traditional medicinal herb to treat infections and inflammation for centuries. The feather-like leaves of the Manuka bush were used by the Maori to disinfect wounds and for inflammation. The seeds and also the parts of the young plants of the Manuka bush were chewed by the Maori in order to treat stomach and intestinal complaints.
Manuka honey from New Zealand contains a variety of ingredients that have only recently been explored. Among other things, research with Manuka honey was carried out at the University of Dresden and the Waikato University in New Zealand. The antibacterial active ingredient methylglyoxal (MGO) was also determined, which is found in Manuka honey much more strongly than in conventional flower honeys. Methylglyoxal is the direct acting "active" component in Manuka honey. Due to its molecular properties and in contrast to hydrogen peroxide in other types of honey, methylglyoxal has a high stability. You can even heat the product in question without reducing the methylglyoxal content.

WHAT DOES & quotACTIVE & quot MEAN?
The term UMF = Unique Manuka Factor means "Unique Manuka Factor" and is used to classify the active properties of Manuka honey. The higher the UMF or the newer name MGO, the more active the honey. It should be noted, however, that very high UMF such as 25+ cannot always be guaranteed, as the activity of Manuka honey depends on many factors such as temperature, sunshine duration, activity of the bees, etc.
UMF 10+ corresponds to MGO 100+
UMF 20+ corresponds to MGO 400+
This throat spray contains extra strong Manuka honey with an MGO content of 400 mg per kg honey (corresponds to UNF 20+), propolis (at least 30 mg bioflavanoids per gram raw mass) and essential oils.

For daily oral hygiene, for bad breath, inflammation, fungal infections or to strengthen the immune system.
