ORIGIN AND HISTORY

According to today's interpretation, stromatolites are calcium deposits that are caused by marine cyanobacteria (formerly also known as & quot; blue-green algae & quot; or & quot; blue-green algae & quot;).

Stromatolites are the oldest fossils from the Pre-Cambrian and have existed for about 3.5 billion years.

NOTE

Remember that every stone also needs maintenance. This can vary from stone to stone. As a rule of thumb: Clean your stone under running water after each use, especially if different people are being massaged with the same stone!
