DESCRIPTION OF THE PLANT

The Doldige Milky Star belongs to the lily family, so it is related to onions and garlic. It can be between 10 and 25 centimeters tall and prefers open grassland, roadsides but also forests. The slender dark green leaves are pointed and have a white line in the middle. The 6-petalled small flowers are bright white and only bloom when the sun is shining. Flowering time is from April to May.
