Use churnas in cooking or just sprinkle them on top of the finished food. With the finished churnas, you can also wonderfully refine salads or salty yoghurt drinks or conjure up sophisticated snacks from simple sandwiches. Since there are no strict guidelines as to which churna you should use when and with which dish, just experiment a little and discover the variety of possible uses.

How do the three Churnas Vata, Pitta and Kapha differ?
Vata Churna
Spicy and curry-like. With cumin, fenugreek, turmeric (tumerik), asa-foetida and ginger. Vata balancing. Particularly suitable for all foods that increase Vata, e.g. B. Cabbage, broccoli, corn, legumes and salads.
Pitta Churna
Mild exotic, fine. With coriander, fennel, cumin, cardamom, ginger and turmeric. Good in summer, with too much internal pitta (heat), with tomato dishes and to taste.
Kapha Churna
Hot and spicy and slightly fiery. With ginger, coriander, black pepper and turmeric. Kapha balancing. Recommended for heavy dishes and when you feel like something spicier.

Lecker für Gemüse und Kartoffelgerichte
Ich habe mir das Pitta Churna gekauft (da das meinem Dosha entspricht). Es ist sehr lecker, vor allem über Gemüse- und Kartoffelgerichten. Ich habe es auch schon zum Würzen von Joghurtsaucen oder Quark (prima als Dip) genommen.
