WHAT DOES BASIC MEAN?

A balanced acid-base balance is vital for people. Even the infants develop in an alkaline environment, because the amniotic fluid has, for example, a basic pH value of approx. 7.5 to 8.5. That is why a newborn smells good and healthy.

A pH value between 7.35 and 7.45 is essential for the blood. And as soon as the body cells of the most important muscle for humans, the heart, drop to a pH value of approx. 6.2, this could cause cardiac arrest.
