SPOIL YOUR BODY AND YOUR SOUL!An ayurvedic massage has less to do with a powerful massaging of the muscle tissue than with giving your body and spirit a deep, inner sense of balance through the help of harmonizing oils and gentle movements. For this reason, the main thing is to make sure the oil is equally distributed on the skin so that it can soak in evenly. An ample selection of ayurvedic herbs is used for these precious massage oils. Traditional methods ensure that the nourishing components are extracted carefully and gently. Contents: 150 ml. Vata for normal to dry and combination skin Pitta for sensitive skin Kapha for oily skin Introduction to oil massage:Take about 15 minutes in the morning. The massage can be performed sitting or standing and with a comfortable room temperature. It is ideal if the oil is warmed ahead of time to just above your body temperature. Massage with your whole hand slowly and evenly. Afterwards a thin layer of oil film should cover the entire body. Begin with massaging the head area with small, circling motions. Afterwards do the neck, throat and shoulders as well as arms and hands. Massage the long bones with long up and down motions and the joints with circular motions. Chest and stomach area should be massaged very gently: circling over the rib cage, straight up and down movements over the breast bone and solar plexus. Massage the stomach with slow, circling, clockwise motions. Back and posterior should be massaged with the palms of the hands up and down as far as you can reach. The legs are massaged straight on the bones and circling on the joints. Finally massage the soles of your feet. You will get the optimal benefit if you leave the oil on your skin for another 15 minutes before showering. In this way the body has enough time to absorb it. If you are short on time, just massage your head, ears and footsoles. Opened bottles are not returnable. |
